Warehouse Shipping Advice

The EDI 945 Warehouse Shipping Advice is sent by a 3PL or warehouse back to the goods owner to confirm what was actually shipped in response to a 940 Warehouse Shipping Order. It is the functional equivalent of a ship notice (856) in the 3PL world.

Common Validation Errors

W0602 (Shipment Identification Number) must be unique per shipment. W1202 (quantity shipped) that differs from the 940 W0102 (quantity ordered) signals a partial fill.
